transporting your dirt bike

hey guys i am looking into a dirt bike. finding some nice ones for cheap. i like the hitch type bike carriers but was wondering if it works with a spare tire. i am going to the source of you guys since someone out there has to have some experience on it.


let me know guys. pics are great of any transporting idea.

I use one of the racks that you are talking about for my dirt bike. I put a pad between the spare and the bike and throw a tie-down on the tire carrier to hold the bike tight to the tire. I flat tow my jeep behind my motorhome, so a small trailer is not an option if I want to take the Jeep and the bike with me.

My carrier is like this one:

thats what im talking about. thanks everyone for input.

they other cool thing with this is i can tow my m416 trailer and put it on the back of the trailer. (just gotta weld on a 2 in reciver to the trailers frame). will be sweet setup.
