Tree vs Suspension

Earlier tonight I ran over a pretty big tree(about 1 foot in diameter?) that was downed in a bad storm we had today. Was going pretty fast; was probably at about 40 when I hit it(in my defense, I was rushing to my girlfriend's house, she was about to go to the ER). It was on my dirt road so as soon as I saw it I broke but still skidded Into it straight on. My steering knuckle at least skidded over it, as there is wood and bark in the pitman arm nut. My front tires jumped over it, and I had to pop it In 4 to get the rears over. After a quick inspection, I didn't notice anything right off the bat. But I was rushed, it was pitch black and I was only working with my flashlight. Driving the rest of the 15 minutes, I didn't notice anything strange except that my suspension feels a little "loose" in the front. Like my swaybar is disco'ed. In an accident like this, what would be the first thing to break? My tires took the brunt if the force, so I'm a bit worried about my control arms, as my frame is on the rusty side. I'm going to inspect it more when I'm back at my girlfriend's house, and tomorrow morning. I might call insurance and see if I can have a professional mechanic look at it to make sure. But I'm concerned if it'll cost me(increased rates, having to pay for them to inspect it, etc). I do carry collision on it("acts of god" and such like deer and rocks on the windshield).
Anyone got some advice?

Hope y'all are ok. My area has had a lot of damage. My little town got lucky, but a hog barn half a mile outside of town is gone now...

Check your tie rod. If it was stock, it could have bent. Other than that, any type of joint on the front end needs to be looked at.

I bent my tie rod back in the woods a few months ago, did the ZJ conversion. It looks fine, and my alignment is still spot-on. And I'm sorry about no pictures, it was dark when it happened and I have to head to work now. I'll put some pictures up as soon as I'm able.

Oh, and I know I was going too fast. Trust me, lesson learned. I'll check all my joins as well.
