Trek top NX verses factory hard top

I currently have a 2000 TJ with factory soft with Bestop replace a top. I live in Montana and I am looking for some suggestions form the group who are in some colder climate areas.

My current soft top has seen some better days, the rear does not stay put in the tub very well, I suspect from driving with sides off and the rear window down has caused this. It is very difficult to zip the side windows in place no matter what time of day so I think it is time for a new top.

1. Option one is to find a used factory hard top for the colder winter climate here in MT. This is not a daily driver but I dont want it to st still for 6 months either. I would keep my factory soft top and install it for the summer months and store the hard top in summer.

2. Option two would be a Trektop NX. I like the fact the side windows wrap around the back so that when I drive with the sides off I wont have to worry about rear corners coming out of the tub. If I go this route I would sell off my factory softtop and just use this one all year around.

What does everyone think would be the best route? Thanks in advance!

Jeff
