Trying to find replacement top.

I am looking to find a replacement top for my 01 wrangler sport. The soft top I had previously was from craigslist so I'm not sure what type of bracket I have.

I know I have plastic parts that I put on the doors that has a lil nook for me to tuck the top in. Each side of the roll bar (left/right) has two spots for the bracket to hook into.

Sorry about asking such an easy question with not much detail.... the guides i've found online don't seem to be much help.

The plastic parts are called door surrounds. If you post of pic of your current top someone can tell you what you have now. There are tons of options for tops for TJ's. Bestop being the best quality choice, but there are other good quality options too, Rampage frameless, Supertop NX, or trektop NX by bestop....

I was looking at the rampage but i'm on a bit of a budget. Unfortunately I have my hard top on right now and have no pictures w/ my soft top. I just want to make sure I get a replacement for the type of frame that I have.
SOMEONE put my soft top outside for the winter and it ended up w/ holes all over the place...

I tried that. Both the factory and best top recommend the same replacement though. I just wanted to make sure I'm getting the right thing here. Y'all know your stuff.

This is the type I have. I can just get one for a factory top right?

Cheapest place to look? I'm on a budget.

I do appreciate any help

Yes Bestop makes replacemets for the factory frame. How much of a budget are you on? You can get cheaper tops (Pavement Ends, Smittybilt, Rampage) but you get what you pay for

Trying to stay below 300 if possible. Is that a bit too low?

I dropped $705 for a Bestop Supertop NX with shipping from Quadratec. Every time I look at it, touch it, and get in it and smell it, I say yup, glad I bought a Bestop Suptertop NX. I wish it would keep that new top smell forever. You can see and feel the quality of the Supertop NX. It is built really well. I spoke to a gentleman named Jim today at Bestop's Customer Service Dept and he was an outstanding agent to talk to. Gave me some great advice on the care of my new investment.

It was hard figuring out the directions, but easy to assemble and attach the frame. The hardest part after figuring out the directions was getting the fabric on the Jeep, because it being new and tight.

Be advised that Pavement Ends is Bestops less expensive sister company. They are less expensive for a reason.......

Thanks for the heads up. Sadly I got it 2 minutes too late. Hopefully it'll get some good time in before crapping out. I switch to a hard top for the harder months so the abuse won't be crazy heavy.

I know not everyone has the same luck, but my Pavement ends has almost 5 years on it with no leaks, tears or bad zippers. It is stretched some, but it still works fine. Thats almost 5 years of Arkansas hot summers and icy winters.

Agree with Arcountryboy. I had a pavement ends flip top that last well into it's 9th year before I unfortunately ripped the zipper. But it held up extremely well and I was very very happy with it.

I have a Smittybilt on the way. All windows w/ tint. Including 1/2 doors. I read some good reviews on this one. Hope it's worth all the hype.

$317.00 unfortunately "Spice" takes longer to get than any other color. It'll be about 2 weeks before I see what I bought.
