Trying to get spare off tailgate - hitch mounted carrier?

I've been looking at getting something to get my 35 inch spare off my tailgate (actually, what I found is just keeping it in the garage). I thought about replacing the bumper with one with a swing out carrier, but the prior owner welded it on (which kind of pisses me off). Then I was thinking of the bestop highrock carrier or the or-fab carrier. Prior owner had an overhead rack and brackets drilled into the body. Looking at measurements on the instructions for the carriers, it looks like the bolt holes from the existing overhead rack bracket is potentially going to interfere with the tire carrier holes.

So I started looking at a carrier that can use my hitch receiver. Anyone use either of these? Any comments (good or bad)?

Or am I better off trying my luck with the highrock or or-fab?

Hate to bump this back up - has anyone used a hitch receiver tire carrier with any luck for oversize tires?
