Tube Doors... tell me what you know.....

I am looking at tube doors for my TJ.

Please post pics and comments if you have first hand experience with any one in particular. Swinging towards the Best Top Elements with saddle bag combo.

I had the Body Armor Trail Doors from QT. They didn't fit (passenger side, a known problem). QT was great, took them back, paid ALL the freight and credited my card back within 2 days!! That's why I keep going back to them.......

Ready to try again !!

Here was the problem...........

I have a set of the or fab doors they do absolutely nothing but look cool and might I add makes an excellent foot rest! They fit great nice and snug I like them for what they are just tubular cool looking doors but I find myself going completely doorless after a while anyway but in my experience can't go wrong with them however the nylon cover that goes over the bar fade fast within the first summer and turn purple but call me crazy I like that faded look

I need some type of tube-doors to mount my spare set of mirrors onto so I do not have to move the ones on my full size doors when I remove the doors.

WOW, now there is a run-on sentence !!!

I didn't see anything about the Body Armor door being a problem. I have a box sitting in my garage waiting for it to get a little warmer….

Hope mine fit.

Hope they do also coley....my understanding was a jig was off a little (somewhere in China!!) on the passenger door for several pieces. I would recommend you size up the pass side first. If it is a go, the driver side should fit perfect, as mine did. I of coarse wasn't smart enough to check both sides for fitment. I built the drivers side complete prior to knowing the pass side would fit.....

We live and learn!

I bought the bestop doors last year and I love the tube doors. I also got the the enclosures and uppers and have had less than desirable experiences with the combo. But the tube doors I have no complaints.

I really like the Body Armor Trail Doors.
Little things like being able to mount mirrors and interior light button defeat make a difference. The padding on the top bar is nice too.
Had some initial fitting problems. The instal instructions recommended loosening the Jeeps bottom door hinge (if required) to line them up correctly.
I didn't want to mess with the Jeep door hinges, so lengthened the slots on the Trail Doors where the latch attaches - all good now.
