Check out the DeFenders made by poison spyder. They aren't tube, but 3/16 sheet steel . These are better looking and stronger then the 1/8 tube fenders others are selling.

Do replacement bumpers pass inspection? Seems like anything you can tack on to the front passes as a "bumper" these days.

Passing inspections is mainly down to if your state requires so much tire coverage.

I really don't like the look of the arched fenders, but to each his/her own.

Here is mine with 3" Smittybilt fenders. 2.5-3" lift, 1.25" BL on 35's

The TJRod... did you have to do any trimming on the rear fender well to fit the 35's? I've got 33's right now but am looking to upgrade with as little lift as possible to keep the center of gravity relatively low.

Well the 33's fit just fine. When I went to 35's I also did a rear axle swap and have custom length adjustable control arms. I pushed the axle as far back as I could without hitting the gas tank and it seems like they will just barely fit in the wheel wells. I haven't taken it offroad since the swap as I'm waiting to finish the front. So I don't know exactly how well they will stuff and if I need to trim any but as it sits it looks like I might be able to get get away with none or very minimal trimming. With stock arms or non adjustable ones I doubt it would fit without trimming.

I'm planning on getting maximum amount of up travel so I will be out boarding the shocks and opening the wheel well and getting or making hi-line fenders. Will get 14" travel shocks front and rear. Going to make the mounts strong enough for coil overs or ORI struts when I have the money to get them and they will just bolt right on.

Here is a side shot. Yes I have different color wheels. I also have two different bolt patterns as I'm only half way done with the axle swap.

Also the full blown replacement fenders won't be that expensive after you think about how much you could get for selling the stock fenders for 300 per side.

Savvy, Rokmen, TnT Customs, Metal Cloak, Genright, Poision Spyder. There are more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Unless companies like Poison Spyder are compatible with other companies' inner fenders, you will need to keep your stock fenders to use them. Also, I dont believe Savvy has come out with a fender set up yet, at least according to their website.

Well, I named some companies of the top of my head. My work computers internet is to slow to check them all. Well I know for certain the Gen Right make inner fenders, and I'm pretty sure TnT customs are full fenders.

Sorry to confuse if I did.

No worries, I am pretty sure most of the companies you listed have the option of the full fender replacement, except for Poison Spyder and Savvy. Just thought I would comment so no one would end up confused

I just found some stock fenders locally on cl with rust holes on the top section of the outer fender where they always rust for $50.00 . I'm going to pick them up for the inners so I can sell my rust free fenders and recoup some cash.

Ps is supposed to have a highline version of the Defender available in the spring. Can't wait to see them! I was looking at rokmen highline fenders, but fired off an email to ps checking on a highline version of the Defender . After hearing back promptly with a time line I made the decision to go ps.

Here's a link to the flat fender / highline bible on jf.

River Raider makes some great stuff! They are only about 15 minutes from my house Their tube fender set is a "weld it yourself kit" that is why its cheaper.

Another MCE Flattie fender owner. These are the one piece Gen II with 3" flare.
The survived the second half of last season a lot better than my stock fenders did the first half.

Are they my way or down south? I didn't know that. sweet.

OP, get some tube and steel, a welder and a bender, or else some friends. Then have fun

The ones I have seen that I really like that are weld up are the BTF, and Jeep tubes has a decent looking prebent tube set. Rhino Fab (?) used to make some good ones idk its been a while.

As far as easier installs, I like the defender idea, Metalcloaks are cool, tnt, rokmen have some of the best, and the rest mentioned are all very quality products.

Mce's are sweet, and I have seen them hilined, awesome.
