weird...

When i got mine i just took it to the tint shop and had them measure and match my front windows to it. Matches perfect all around (except the windshield)

Then a couple months ago i went ahead and fully tinted the windshield 35% and turned out great...one of my favorite "mods" so far lol

The one i posted??

Yeah...that jeep is sexy

he did all of the bending and measuring and welding himself...so, its a custom cage lol. The reason for his build was he had rolled his jeep (slow motion roll) a few months ago and it crushed his windshield so after 500 bucks to fix that, he built a functional cage out of some super strong tubing so that wouldnt happen again. Looks great. I posted a couple more pics of it in another thread. The owners of that jeep just joined a few days ago after i wheeled with them. Extremely nice people as well.

Nice...hopefully it matches like mine

And yeah... i didnt wanna go darker than 35 but am glad i didnt do 50%
I know any tint on the front is a no-no but so far i havent had any troubles and absolutely love it. No glare, its like having built in sunglasses, and looks great
Only cost me 45 to do the windshield as well.

Post pics when you're done!

I will! And I wanna do my windshield but I don't think my dad would be too happy with me when I came back from school on the weekend haha. I also ordered these side decals along with "little jeep dudes" as well. Hopefully they will be in this week!

FYI, you want pass NC state inspection with anything more than a 4" strip across the top of the windshield, and unless you do like I do and leave your doors at home, they won't pass either.

Yea I wasn't gonna do more than 4" on my windshield when I do. And I was actually wondering that so you can leave your doors off and it will pass? My girlfriends dad inspects my jeep though so I'm not too worried about passing ha

As long as you have mirrors.
I have homemade mirrors that I bolt in the top hinge.

Go with Metalcloak front fenders they run slightly higher than those ones in the pics above. They also come in arched which come just past the hood. Im doing a 1" inch lift with metalcloak highline fenders a LCOG build.

Spyder's Defenders for the win. But I had to fab the rear to match since I don't like full corner guards...
