i run the smittybuilt tubular bumpers on my jeep and i do quiet a bit of offroading and i think there fine. theres some stuff you do have to worry about though, like hitting trees, brush, or anything in ur way down. they will stratch and ruin the finish on the bumper. So that eliminates the joy of ramming into shopping carts in the middle of Wal-marts parking lot! lol. these bumpers cant handle like the other bumpers like the warn. Even though i have that bumper, i can still easily access a snatch point on the front of my car that the bumper is not in the way. In my opinion, i think the tubular bumpers look better because the others look to plain(unless u have a winch). But thats just me. Its all up to u.
