Tuffy over head

Was looking at the single compartment tuffy overhead unit. And was wondering if it fits fine with the hard top on and i noticed the bolts in the back to the main cross member. I have a one piece sound bar and wondered if that would hinder either one from being installed.

Thanks guys.

I have only run a soft top but had no issues with the original full width sound bar. Tuff bracket ran right over the top and just cleared it.

Does not seem too bad, but I have heard others about rattles and too small to do much with. I do not have one myself.

I have been running one for a little over three years. I have a Yaesu FT-8800 mounted in it. Located the mic clip and an external speaker plus the footman loop all on the setup. No problems. I was skeptical as the front attachment point was the two little screws for the footman loop on the windshield frame. But we have never had a problem.

This is the unit i was looking at. As you can see the bolts at the back of the unit sticking out. I wasnt sure if that would be a prob with the sound bar.
I'm sure if there was a rattle between the top and the tuffy unit a piece of foam or something would solve that problem.

You need to add a photo or a link.......While the members of the forum are good but don't read minds (except for Scout).
