Tuffy Speaker Console

Does anyone have a Tuffy Speaker Security Console? If so what brand and size of speaker are you using.

The tuffy speaker console is designed to accept the factory sup enclosure. You can bolt an 8" woofer directly to the console but keep in mind it is not a sealed box. I bought my console used and installed the sub enclosure from my Jeep. The PO of the console had a speaker mounted inside and had lined it with dynomat. (Note I am not an audio expers so I cannot say what's the best way to do it)

You may get better response in the electronics/audio forum section. I have been thinking about this console as well but keep thinking of all the other thinks I could replace for ~$450. Besides then I would spend another 6-800 on replacing the speakers, head unit, new amp and sub. Ugghhh.

They are kinda pricey I got mine from ExtremeTerrain.com with a 6% discount and free shipping so I got it a little cheaper than $450. Thanks for suggesting the other section going to try it.
