Does the turbo do anything for them like the RIPP super charger does? Never heard of anyone ever wanting to Turbo Charge a 4.0.. Consider me subscribed..

505 Performance makes turbo systems for pre-JK jeeps. You can look at them here. However, at least member on this forum had a really hard time with his. Whether that means his installation was incompetent or the product was bad, I have no idea.

505 performance makes the one and only turbo kit.

if you don't want to spend that kinda of money, then its all on you to custom fabricate everything.

There are so many things you will need for a turbo setup...

Full exhaust, manifold, turbo, intercooler, plenty of plumbing, fuel pump, iinjectors, engine management, inlet, intake, a solid tune from a reputable tuner, dyno time, stronger transmission/gears/axles ect.........

The question you should be asking yourself is WHY do I want to turbo a Jeep. So much would need changing or upgrading.

i looked on 505 and thats why i was trying to find the manifold. i cant find anywhere i dont wanna spend 4,000 for the kit when i could do it myself. as for all the injectors and everything they wouldnt need to be replaced at the boost i was planning to run.

In my opinion 4gs for a turbo kit is on the cheaper side.

When I owned my subaru I dropped 1200 on the intercooler alone...

if you are able to put the kit together, why couldn't you flip an exhaust header upside down and fabricate a baseline for the turbo to mount to? While a different platform, we do the same on a mustang if making a setup.

Let me add that I not familiar with the exhaust port on the 4.0 so this may not be an option.
