Hello everyone,I'm new to the forum..here is my situation
My right rear turn signal went out the other day because the front right signal was flashing fast(sign that a bulb went bad)..opened up the rear taillight cover and looked at the bulb,it seemed fine, swapped it with the left side and it worked fine..
Checked the fuses and i looked at the flasher relay above the steering column..it seems to be working fine due to clicking sound when activating the turn signal left/right...
the left side works fine...
I'm stumped... i looked at other threads but with no luck...any suggestions would be great..
It's either your flasher or your wiring. check to make sure u have Good wiring connections all over. Hyper flashing is caused by power being returned back from the bulb when it should be getting used up

Were do i find the flasher? do you mean the front right bulb?
Just a little hint: Just because the bulb filament isn't physically blown doesn't mean it's Ok, often the lead solder contact at the bottom of the bulb that goes into the socket gets hot enough to melt and deform, when this happens contact is lost between the bulb and socket. When the bulb is remove and installed the contact area realigns and the bulb seems to work fine again like when you switched it from the LS to the RS.
Digging up a really old thread here, but I have been having problems with my turn signal (still haven't found a solution) which I have posted about in a separate thread. I want to replace my flasher relay to make sure that is not the problem. Will this generic relay work from fleabay?
Why order when you can walk into your local parts store and pick up a flasher relay. (By the way, there does that ebay auction say that it is a flasher relay?)
Just FYI I could not find this part at most of my local autoparts stores (I didn't look at every single one). I found a relay I thought to be the correct one at Advance Auto Parts (relay part number R3177 [INCORRECT] for those interested) only to find it was incorrect upon install. It fit in the wiring harness but the turn signals didn't work. What I should have done all along was pull the old relay and write down the part number. For those interested in this information (which I couldn't find anywhere on WF believe it or not), the turn signal/flasher relay for the 1999 TJ SE:
2(4)X32CP - 12V
I ordered a used one on fleabay for $8 with a 60 day warranty.
