Turn signal help!!!!

So when parking lights are off and no headlight is on BOTH turn signals work. But when the left signal is activated the dash board blinks and the led headlight rings also blink. But as soon as I turn the switch to activate the parking light and or headlamps the right signal works fine. But the left signal dosent blink at all. The icon on the dash stays lit and doesn't blink at all.

May be alittle confusing but willing to explain. If anyone knows where to get this fixed or how to would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds like you have bad grounds somewhere. Do you have tail light guards over the tail lights.

Did you replace your stock headlights with some fancy LED headlights?

if this is a 2001 or later TJ maybe it is the multi-function switch that is bad. very easy and inexpensive to replace.

Mine does this too. I read somewhere else it had to do with the wiring at the tail lights. I'm going to clean off, and reground, the wires today and will report back.

Yes it's a 2002. And how would I do that or should I just search it.

I talked to the guy at 4 Wheel Parts store and he said I would just take it to the jeep dealer and it could be that the dash module connecter is to short. But hope fully it is somthing like the tail lights or "multi-function switch". I really don't want to spend 6282010$ but going to the jeep dealer

This happened on my Jeep too. The issue turned out to be the socket the turn signal plugged into. It was heavily corroded on the inside where to bulb goes. I replaced it with a generic one and it works perfect now.

Sorry to rehash this. But finally got around to it. And too the jeep to a pro. And it turns out that the previous owner ripped wires out. And there were a bunch of wires by the take gate that were live and exposed. Tech said he fixed all the "fire hazards". There was also a wrong light bulb in the turn signal housing. But got everything fixed. Thanks for the help.

Me too. Had a similar problem. Made be dang crazy. I replaced the multi function switch-- super easy. That didn't fix it.

It was the driver side turn signal socket. Replaced it and all is well.

It's the simple things that bring joy.
