turn signals problem

my turn signals stopped automatically clicking off when i complete my turn, gotta do it manually now...is this a mechanical or an electrical problem?

Don't know about the Jeep, but in some of the older cars I've worked on. There is a little pin release on the steering wheel that disengages the turn switch. So in that case it would be mechanical.

You probably need to replace the turn signal switch. It will come as the switch, handle as one unit. Not a big deal to change as long as you have a puller to remove the steering wheel.

You dont have to pull the wheel off. It comes apart at the column, switch runs about $70, they shit out all the time.
Violence may not be the answer but it sure cuts down on the stupid questions
