Turn signals/ wipers/ sound system only work when ignition is turned to accessories

Hi all,
I am having trouble with my ignition switch. The accessories seem to only work when I have my key turned to accessories. However while driving none of these components work. I have a feeling it's a dirty contact in the ignition switch or something of that nature. Will open her up when I get some time. Any thoughts or similar experiences that you care to share will be greatly appreciated.

Those are classic symptoms of a bad ignition switch. They go bad usually because of too much weight on the keychain, especially offroad. The part is about $75, and I don't thing it's too difficult to install.

Yeah had an inkling that was the issue. Thanks for your help, will have to go source the part now! If anyone has an idea of what the part # is that would be handy. Thanks
