The 2 questions I have is:

1) Has the bumper ever prevented you from approaching something?
2) Are you wanting to shorten it because it's the cool thing to do per people on these Jeep forums?

1. i like the look and dont really want to spend $400 for a stubby
2. i did hit once but was able to maneuver to make it over the rock
3. and also i thought it would make a small fun project because i like change on my jeep but also dont have a ton of money to dump into it

i love the stubby look, but instead of potenially messing you your. I would first try to seel yours on here or CL because you can get a good amount of money and find a stuuby such as bulldog's or metal claoks for around 200
