Two Batteries?

Hello everyone. basically I run a lot of electronics, for example a lot of lights, big radio system, cb radio, compressor sometimes, charge my phone, police radar, A/C and a lot more small stuff. So I was wondering how I could run two batteries and connect all my electronics to one and then starter and main engine components on another so i dont have to worry about killing it. Any suggestions?

For what you just listed there, I'd just get a good high quality battery and it should be fine...

HI, Years ago I had a Power Wagon And to meany KC daylighters So I built a bracket to mount to GM self contained alternators and added a second battier. One battier for the truck the other for everything else. Or you cloud buy a high output alternator. I went with two because I could and two batiers are better then one. Your choice

Yes, Its called an isolation diode all the motor homes use them with multiple batteries. Alternator charges both batteries but the house pulls off one battery. It can be stone dead and the vehicle battery still fully charged. You can get one at any good parts store.

I believe If I took the jack out I could put a battier there. Push come to shove I could put it behind the back seat. Where there is a will there is a way.

Go to a car audio store and talk to them about batteries. Years ago I had a high capacity Odyssey battery that I got from the stereo shop. http://www.odysseybatteries.com/battery/pc1500.htm

Pretty pricey, but it was worth the money to me.

Diehard Platinum. I have read that Optima quality has gone down since a change in ownership or something. Even has a second set of terminals you can use to wire an auxilary power box from. I have also read that they are rebranded Oysseys, but i'm just spreading internet hear say now .
