Ugh, not again. Stalling Jeep

So i've read a lot on this forum about people's TJ's stalling out. 99% of the solutions is either replacing fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. So I got down near the tank and it seemed like my fuel pump was very temperamental, choosing when to switch on or not, so i got it replaced. Seemed to have solved the problem, untill the other day when started to head for the beach, pulled out of the driveway and it went dead on me. It would not start back up so i had to get it towed back into my driveway. Went out about midnight and my Jeep fired right up. What gives?

I've purchased a FPR but im wondering will this just be more money thrown at the 'problem' without fixing it or am I missing something? Any and all avice will be helpful.

And also This is my first Jeep, and I've only had it for about a month so I'm new to the whole Jeep community. Be gentle, haha.

Check the crank position sensor .... They are usually the culprit , if you haven't replaced it... Do it.

Hey thanks for your replies. I actually have replaced the crank posistion seneor already. Although it did need replacement, it didn't solve the problem.

It stalled on my again >.<, but I've noticed something different. When i went to turn the key on to the accessory posistion, the fuel gauge or battery gauge didn't read anything, and the Jeep didn't start. So I kept turning the key on and off untill the gauges finally responded, and the Jeep started. Weird? So I'm guessing it might be electrical or the ECU?

I really want to play with the big boys with my Jeep but I can't do that till i nip this problem in the bud.

Haha funny you say that; took it to the shop and that's what I'm getting replaced. Go figure. Just hope it solves the problem. Sucks that I won't have my Jeep for a week tho >.<
