Ultimate kit installed.. (PICS!!!!)

ok well i finally got this all installed... it was definately a major pain but im glad i did it by myself.. it was a learning experience for sure.. it looks a lot higher than i expected.. havent really been able to drive it fast to see if there are any vibrations but i figure i will have some.. that rear end looks HIGH!!! i hope i wont have to get an SYE/CV combo as i have no moola...

first pics are when i first got her.. second set w/no top is after the jks BL/mml combo.. and the last three are after the lift minus the tires... i dont know if the 33s i have for it will fit w/o the spacers.. so i opted not to install them yet.. spacers are backordered

I had to google "ultimate kit".... for that kind of money it didn't come with lower arms?

I have a set of spacers that you need!! I will take 100 for them plus shipping!! They are 1 1/4 spacers that I used with my stock canyons and 35's

i had problems with the traction bars and still am trying to get front t bar centered.. rear is good and now my only problems... im hoping i dont get vibes but i went out and got some washers to space out the t case if needed..


if and when i add the t case spacers, its just the six bolts holding the skid that need to be spaced right??

lookin great, and when you get those 33's on there it will be the coolest thing at the mall

im going with this same lift. im actually buying it tommarow (monday) and i have 33's alrdy in use for it. keep us posted if theres any vibes. im a bit worried about if ill get lucky or not in that department.
did you get an alignment?
did you have to balance the tires?

my 33's were balanced for my 2inch BB but i wonder if they will need re-balancing when i get the ultiment kit.

i wouldn't buy aftermarket control arms unless they have a flex joint. it would be far easier to replace a broken control arm (you can find spare stockers for free or almost free) than it would be to replace a control arm bracket.

a flex joint will let the arm twist some which means it won't put as much stress on the CA mount. snapping a stock arm would be better than an aftermarket control arm without a flex joint messing up the control arm bracket. i would keep the stock arms before buying an aftermarket arm without flex joints. JMO

they obviously are junk...

they are longer than stock which is a good thing. and if your not flexing then it really won't matter if you have a flex joint

your lucky hulkboy. just orderd my ultiment kit today and i have to wait a month for the shocks and coils

should have the body lift,MML,disconects, trackbars within the week tho.

OK UPDATE!!

alright after bein out of town for a week i came back to wheel spacers.. thanks to jherrin215 i put them on even after being as tired as i was from driving for 1300 miles straight cause i could not wait to see what the big tires would look and feel like... so here are some pics to show off the jeep... w/the big tires now...

i got the HD OME,s the ride is great.. no complaints yet.. we will see after a week w/the new tires.. i think i didnt adjust my swaybars right because i feel some body roll on turns.. this could be from the added height but i dunno..

whats the usal mpg decrease w/the upgrade to 33s.. i have 3.73s and was getting 18mpg w/the 30s... what do you figure i will get w/the 33s?
