So I'm on winter brake and I did not want to sit on my butt the hole time. So I went out and worked on the jeep. Well first I had to change the water pump but I'm sure most of you have. My steering box had a supper bad leak and I did not have the money for a new one. I found out that a 99 Durango steering box bolts right up, the steering shaft just slide on and so does the pitmen arm the only thing is that the stock bumper (I'm not sure about after market ones) hits the box so you have to bend the bumper in. And the box off the Durango is bigger by a good half inches and yes this will help a lot with bigger tires. When I say bigger I mean the piston inside is bigger.
And there's the box after I put it on, if you have 31 inches tires after putting this box on it will steer like your on ice but it works perfect!
Next: I like to go off road and hit the gas when I'm off road so you know where that can lead to?! Hahah! No it had nothing to do with mpg, this is all about the tie rod and tie rod ends. I got supper board one day and was looking at all kinds of jeep and found out that the 99 Grand Cherokee Laredo has a tie rod thats 7 times bigger then what I have. I got lucky and found a tie rod and tie rod ends for $10 off the Grand Cherokee Laredo. I droped my tie rod and checked to see if the ends are the same and you know what, they are! But the rod itself is a little to long so I took 14 inches out, and I put a 3inches slug in the middle where I took the 14 inches out. And left some incase I lifted the jeep more. And for the eye catcher here, since my jeeps yellow I painted the tie rod and ends Cat Yellow, they POOP out!

Next: I put a 4 inches lift kit on it about a year ago. I got everything with the lift. Well like I said my jeeps yellow and my springs I got were black. So I pulled both the front and back of the jeep apart and painted the springs Cat Yellow. Some people say is that little bit of paint really worth all that work? Well pulling the springs out was not hard and putting them back on is still easy. Nothing really to it if you know what you'll doing
That's only one spring I did not think to get a picture of all of them and after I put them back on but you know there catching your eye now!
Next: air horn, and air compressor (sorry no pictures) the horns are under the hood right behind the air intake and the compressor is behind the driver seat on the finder hump. When I hit the horn people for miles turn there heads just to see what's coming! Hahaha
