Upgrades for a 98 Wrangler 4.0L

Im just seeing if anybody has some good advice for upgrades to do to a stock 98 Wrangler 4.0. Im planning on putting a guard on the front, some extra lights and lifting it using spacers and body lift.

Are there any brands you would recommend for the lights? Grill Guard? Wheels? Any interior upgrades recommended?

Thank you

What do you plan to do with the Jeep? Off-road, or mainly street?

I wont be off roading this jeep, it will be mostly driven on the street. I do want to make it look more like a jeep that could be an off roader though.

Didn't you think wranglers were front wheel drive at one point?

callin' someone else a mall crawler.
Just kidding.

Anyways, go to 4wd.com or quadratec.com and check some stuff out. You'll get a good idea hat you want your jeep to look like. Post pics of your mod!

It is very much so, I wheeled mine stock for 9 years and I was pleasantly surprised at what a stock Jeep is capable of. I was even more surprised by the increase in performance just by disconnecting and airing down my tires .

There's a sub forum on this site that deals with pictures of jeeps. Surf on over to that part of the forum and spend some time looking at how others have dressed up their jeeps. Then come back and ask about things that appeal to you.

Generally speaking, its all about the tires you want to run. Larger than factory tire sizes may require changes to wheel specs, fender and steering clearance, axle shafts and gears. That kind of thing. Even for a daily driver jeep.

Your question was civil. I don't think you should have been dismissed by a youngster.
