v8 swap

ive been researching and im ready to do a v8 swap in my 02 4.0 tj. Theres a few motors for candidates to choose from. Im mostly drawn to the 350 cause ive seen many jeeps with that swap, it seems common and done before. what i was thinking was the chevy 350 with twin turbo at around 7 pounds of boost. I for sure want to boost the motor that im getting. I know the 350 comes in a whole bunch of cars but i need to know exactly what car to take it out of. Fuel injected or not. Which 350 would be the best for the swap? Also is there a company that sell motor mounts for the swap, or do i need to fab some up. and also the wiring harness. If anyone has advice about this swap or other ideas for motor choice please speak. Thanks

there are a few companies that sell the conversion kit. i'm pretty sure you can get one from advance adapters. you can go with either fuel injection or w/ a carb. (buy an after market off road carb, floats mess up and flooding at steep grades and angles) i personally would get fuel injection. i don't know if you have the room to add some boost but they make plenty of bolt on power for the 350.
you can purchase a painless wiring kit or get the one that comes with the 350 you purchase. one more thing if your going fuel injection you will have to get the computer and wiring harness with the motor. most likely will cause added costs. my buddy has a ls1 in his tj and it has tons of power. down fall to his is he paid close to 13k for the motor and 4k getting it installed. (wish i was a check fund baby) lol. anyways good luck

Upinar, correct my if I'm wrong, but does your Jeep sit 19 inches higher over stock?

Twin turbo and you dont know which 350 to use? You need to be reading up on turbo motors cause no stock block can take twin turbo. You got to lower the compression by changing the pistons if you want to be able to drive it on any thing other than the highest octane race fuel.
