Wanna Change My Tail Lights

Just got my first Jeep, 05 Wrangler SE. Anyway, I'm a bit abbby-normal, so I want to change the look a bit. I don't want to go to round LED;s, but maybe something like 65 Mustang lights. Anybody have any suggestions or thoughts??? Hell, I gotta start somewhere
Thanks

how about rectangular/square or maybe oval led tail lights? you can pick them up at any commercial truck parts supply store. Don't forget to get an LED compatable flasher or your lamps will blink at an alarming rate.

you could pick up a kit to french in some 59' caddy tail lights! Since the tub is flat it would be easy to weld in a tail light bucket for any tail light you want.

There should be a rule.

XtrmTJ you're not allowed to post a picture of your Jeep without prior warning. Because now I once again have ruined a completely good keyboard with drool.

And gordo, I think the 65 Mustang taillights sound like an awesome idea. It shouldn't be too difficult given that the taillights are flat in the back, only arched in the front I believe. That'd be your only problem. The rest would be drilling the holes, aligning and wiring.

Thanks to all,
Now I have more ideas for the voices in my head to talk about. The idea for the mustang lights comes from childhood memories of old jeeps i;ve seen, but some of the other ideas heve raised some interest as well. Thank goodness I'm retarded, I mean retired, and have time on my hands

there was a thread a while back of "oval" shaped lights. match two of them together at a slight inward angle on both sides and it looks pretty mean.

Marines have a hard enough time spelling, I guess.......

Jk.....I like the Humvee taillights. I originally "acquired" a set of Humvee taillights to do the same thing, but never got around to doing it. I've already committed my tub to round LEDs, but now I'm starting to second-guess my decision to use them now that I see how good the Humvee taillights look......

I'll have to keep my Humvee taillights for use on another project.......

Yea, you may be right, Marines may not spell so well, may not be cultured, may not be socially acceptable in your high society shindigs, but the most dangerous weapon in the American arsenal, is a UNITED STATES MARINE and his RIFLE!

'Twas a joke, marine.

And to be perfectly honest, the most dangerous weapon in the American arsenal is a SNIPER of ANY branch.....

LED Add on

I found small led lights about the size of a quarter. Drilled small holes in the top center of my stock lights. Wired in led's, kept factory and just added these. VERY BRIGHT LIGHTS for park and stop. Just an idea.
