warn m8000 rebuild kit?

so ive got an opportunity to buy a used m8000. the po says it works intermittently. its a good price if the rebuild kit isn't too much. its going to need a new rope too, I don't want to spend as much between the winch, rope and rebuild as I would just buying a new one. warn's website isn't very helpful in finding these kits and i don't have any dealers nearby. anybody got an idea on what they would cost, what comes in the kit etc

try a local off road shop for the rebuild kit, my local carquest is a warn dealer so ask a few auto parts stores. and for line, I would look at synthetic, not cheap, but safer than rope.

My winch came with my jeep so I'm not sure what brand it was it came with a wireless remote and it would also work intermittently so I just opened it up cleaned all the connections and hard wired a switch in the cab and hasn't failed me since
