Warn Soft Winch Cover

Anyone have any experience with these? I'd like vinyl to keep the water out vs neoprene.

Warn 13917 - WARN Soft Winch Cover - Quadratec

I live up in New England where I feel road salt exposure to the winch will be a problem, else wise I'd opt out of having a winch cover

I have it and I like it. Fair quality, easy to take on and off. It uses small bungie straps.

It keeps salt off and bugs and rock chips off in the summer.

I like it.

I have it. Does not fit perfect but works well. I would buy again if I had to.

The only problem I see with a winch cover is not only can it reduce the chance of salt getting inside, it can also trap moisture that would normally just evaporate out. I'd be wary of when I covered the winch and I definitely wouldn't just leave it on all the time. If it's just fresh water like from rain, that won't really harm the winch.

I plan on just using it for winter and I'll occasionally wash and let it dry out. Ill be sure to poke around inside and see how moist it gets. I'll go with the warn, hopefully it mounts clean
