That's one of a line of brand-new winches from Warn. While they aren't up to the heavy-duty longer duty cycle uses of the other Warns, they're still a very good winch. I'd definitely choose one of them over a Smittybilt, HFT, Bulldog, etc.

For a TJ? Just spend the little extra and get an M8000... especially if you plan on using it alot.

IMO the M8000 is a great winch for the money on a Wrangler based rig. they will work with long line pulls and a little harder use the VR line from warn is almost an in house knock off with cheeper parts.

Smile Warn VR10000

Got it on my TJ, works great. Did swap out the line to synthetic. Sure beats the old sooo slow Ramsey that was on the TJ. Great price from Amazon, no tax or shipping. Plus you get a $80 kick-back from Warn. Sold the old sooo slow Ramsey for $150. So it's all good.
