Warn winch cover

Does anyone have any experience with the vinyl Warn winch cover? How well do the bungee chords work? I have a X8000i and wanting a cover for it. Also looking for input on the hard cover, as well. I can't seem to find a neoprene version for my particular series.

I'm no fan of winch covers that just trap moisture, especially neoprene. Fresh water doesn't hurt a winch, I wouldn't worry about covering your winch.

I did read a post where the cover caused condensation to build up, inside the cover. I was concerned more about sun fade, than moisture....how tough is the paint?

It is powder coated, not painted. Besides, your entire Jeep is painted, how resistant to the sun is it?
