Warn ZEON winch

Anyone have the ZEON winch?

Im in the market for a winch. Im set on warn. Its between the M8000 and the ZEON 8000. I will be wheeling about every other weekend, nothing major. I just want something that will get me out every single time, no matter how deep im in.

I have a zeon 10s on my tj. I went with the 10, if you look @ the specs it's the same winch as the 8 just geared differently. The 10 draws less current @ full load also. Only thing is its a little slow, which Is what I prefer when I'm winching. I have no complaints with is what so ever. When I was looking my choice was between the xd9000 and zeon 10. I went with the zeon mainly cause of weight.

Synthetic rope has it all over wire rope in terms of strength, ease of use, and safety. After replacing my first winch's wire rope twice in its first five years due to kinks & broken strands, I replaced it with a 3/8" synthetic rope from Viking Offroad. That rope was still in good shape five years later when that Jeep got stolen. The new winch on the replacement TJ got more of the same, 3/8" synthetic from Viking at 4X4 Winch Lines at Winchline.com: Winch Line,Winch Ropes, Recovery Gear, Tow Rope, Synthetic Winch Line
