Water on the floor? OPERATION!

Ok seriously - I went out to my Jeep today, the first in a week , and on the passenger floor there was a bit of water, not much, but just enough to spill off the floor mats on the carpet a bit.

I know the water comes in through the cowl and down the air intake for the A/C system, but my question is:

Is there any damage to any of the electronics if this happens?

I know the blower motor works, just tried that...

IS there a way to prevent this other than closing off the cowl on the hood?

Thanks!

there´s a hose through that the water runs off that comes in the air intake. it´s located somewhere beside/under the battery.
keep this hose clean and you´ll never have this probem again.

that bit water will not damage anything.
