in the south wqhere there aint many rock crawling type places, we take our jeeps swimmin alot. the only problem with havin the drain plugs out is if you hit deep water fast, the holes act like guysers shooting water pretty high up into the jeep. i leave mine out anyway bc i want it to be able to drain right back out

Plugs in, carpet in, 3 layers of mats (original, secondary rug style, plastic), seat covers (two different sets / style), rear double layer mats, top up.

WI. winters are brutal. Summer in lawn service season. Grass and mud get everywhere.

water from rains and other junk such as salt or mud allways getting in, if you get in deep water the tub will fill up like titanic is sinking, , and at last cold winters and holes in the floor dont make good ride for the feet... Those are the only downsides i can think of.

I have a hardtop - but must, absolutely must, run with 1-2" of fiberglass insulation in the floorboards, under the carpet, to deal with the heat issue. At 117 degrees last summer in Moab, even that was not enough and the tub was very hot... (by the way the dealer replaced the exhaust system while it was in warranty, to no avail).
