weather stripping

The weather stripping around the girlfriends front windshield is coming loose. I tried just push it back in while fueling up at the gas station with little luck in the cold weather. Would it help if I pulled it in the shop and warmed it up to force it back in or are there any tricks. The lower drivers corner and the middle on the passengers side are the areas coming out. It is a 2001 tj if that helps.

Thanks for any info for the newb that has been lurking for over a year

Yeah, warming it up will help. Get some RTV for it (they make if for windshild installs) and use that too.

Clean up any old RTV from the window frame and the gasket and then put some warm (70 deg or so) RTV on it and reseat everything. Keep it warm long enough to "set" too (not mandatory, but will help).
