Weekend with the TJ

This came in the mail.

So, I gutted the tub...I learned just how much a man can hate torx bolts.

Then I learned I hate sanding much, much more.

Next came the vacuum, tac cloths, and the MEK. I got high.

Some tape here and there...

Two coats later and here is what I have.

I am happy with it, but I hope I never do this again.

I spread mine out over several days, but I believe I could have gotten it all done in a weekend. I wouldn't want to do the entire job in two days, though. My method involved four or five hours here and there until it was ready to paint. Did I mention how much it sucks to sand a TJ tub?

I have had mine done with that stuff for almost three years. Pretty good stuff.
