Weird click from 2nd to 1st gear *help*

Just as the title says my jeep is making a weird click when it downshifts from 2nd to first just started happening like a month ago and it's starting to bug the crap out of me. I'm trying to fix all the little problems with this thing while I have money but can't seem to figure out what's causing this click so I'm looking for some help. Is it normal for it to click, is it the tranny, and what can I do to get rid of it? I have a 2000 auto with 101000 miles on the clock.

And I guess while I'm at it I'll put this one up for you guys to take a listen to. This is another strange sound that only likes to happen in reverse so I shift to all gears then shift back to reverse. Does anyone have a clue what this sound might be? It does happen sometimes in other gears but mostly reverse.

Could be something wearing out internally, could be aging fluid. When was the last time you had your tranny flushed and refilled?

That's what I was fearing lol. never... I don't think the PO did and I haven't gotten around to it myself since I've owned it. I'm not sure if I want to do it myself though don't want to screw anything up and don't want to pay a ton to have someone do it then have the tranny go out on me and have to replace it. Is that all that comes to mind? And that last vid did you watch that one? If so what could that be?

Did watch the video. Seems plausible.

As for changing the fluid, it's not hard to do. If you have a chiltons manual handy, look at the location where the drain plug and fill plug are. Pull the fill plug FIRST. Worst thing would be to drain it and then not be able to fill it because the fill is stuck.

When replacing the fluid, replace with a high quality synthetic. Not sure what the auto guys use. I have a manual and put MT90 in it (by Redline). I'm sure there's an equivalent automatic fluid that should help.

I know the clicking in my manual (which I thought was syncros going bad) changed substantially when I changed my fluid. It went from very hard to put into gear and a deafening CLICK-CLACK-GRIND to a much better "click". Syncros are still bad, I'm sure, but the fluid definitely helped.

Ok sorry but reviving this one. Could the click be my transfer case? Just wondering because I'm changing the trans fluid this weekend and its still reddish and doesn't smell burnt so I'm not sure if that could be it or not. Maybe I was wrong about the PO maybe he did change the trans fluid lol. Thanks for any response and feel free to watch the vids and help me out with this annoying problem!
