Well made affordable bumper

I'm on the market for a good bumper. Originally I thought I wanted a warm but after bad reviews I decided against them. Who makes a good affordable bumper that can also serve in off roading?

What kind of off-roading are you doing? I like my smittybilt stinger but I just trail ride and run some mud holes. No rock crawling or bashing into trees. Plus it was 250 shipped and his heavy and seems well built to me.

I have the JCR stubby pre runner bumper. I like the look and it was a well built product. Keep an eye out as they run specials for 10% off. They come in bare metal so you will have to paint it or beeline it. It has a built in winch mount so that saves some money later.

I am having an extremely difficult time deciding between JCR's Dagger Stubby and Savvy's. I have seen Savvy's first hand and it is a darn good bumper. I personally just really like the clean lines/look of JCR's.

Good luck!

I can't believe nobody has chimed in with Metalcloak Jeep Bumpers

Fully customizable and trail ready units available too. I don't have them myself, but when the time comes, I will be erector set building my own with them.

I have purchased two bumpers from Nates 4X4 and am very happy with them. With a winch mount, hoop, d-ring mounts and d-rings, light tabs, 2" receiver, and grade 8 hardware they run $350, and delivery is included. They do come bare steel, but I painted them with rock guard and black paint and they look great.

Thought about fabbing your own or paying someone to metal work your existing bumper with boxed steel then just painting that?

I have the JCR PreRunner with integrated winch plate. Very well made bumper. Solid with clean lines. It cost around $380. Lucky for me JCR is only 80mi away so I didn't have to pay for shipping. It's worth it either way though.

Couldn't check out the bulldog bumper and I couldn't find a bumper for TJ on Nates. I was on metalcloaks site but didnt see anything I really liked and I haven't thought about getting someone to make a bumper for me out of my stock. I really do like this http://www.jcroffroad.com/product/SW...-STUB-PRE.html but I'm still open to suggestions.

Go JCR! You won't be disappointed! Our stuff is great (although, I may be a little bias)!
