what are a few different types of bumpers that look good on a tj?

So I'm looking for a front bumper for my 97 tj but im not quite sure what brand to go with or style bumper to go with. I hear people say stay away from smitty built and they had a bumper I kinda liked. Or I can get one custom built by this fabricator I know. Any suggestions on what I should do.

There are so many ..... really depends on your needs and personal preference. This is a link for what I plan to get eventually JcrOffroad, Inc. SWB Wrangler Front Stubby Dagger Pre-Runner Deluxe Winch Bumper (CJ YJ TJ). Has light tabs, winch mount/fairlead and I love the design. There was a thread here on the forum by jcr showing the whole build process. What are you looking for? Planning to add a winch, lights etc.... do you like stingers, stubbies, full width... possibilities are endless.

this almost like asking what tire, or HT or ST, or stick or auto.......IMO get what you can afford and what YOU LIKE!!! You are the only one that has to live with it!!

I don't know who made my bumper..it could well be a Smittybuilt

Go get a frame built bumper from MetalCloak and build the bumper the way you want it with their select of parts.

Or check out what others have made from them.
