What are these called??

When you take the doors off there is a little metal sleeve inside the bracket attached to the jeep where the door slides in. Does this sleeve have a name and where can a find new ones? The ones on my passenger side are in pretty rough shape making it hard to get the door off that side.

I dont need the hinges themselves... There is a sleeve inside the hinge which i suppose acts as a spacer. Here are pics of the problem. These ones are all chewed up and worn

weird, i wonder how they got like that? anyways, can you remove the sleeve completely and just leave them out? then take them to a place like Ace hardware or some auto parts store and see if they can find a replacement sleeve of similar size?

or just drill them out and use the doors in the hinges without the sleeves. or... just buy new hinges.

or, sell your doors and buy 1blkjp's Currie Rock Jock d60 he's trying to sell. lol

noticed mine are starting to look like that too. i saw something close to it at an auto parts store the other day i think. shorter though, looked like brass gromets almost. in the nuts/bolts and specialty fastner section where you find all plastic push pins and crap for interior trim.

All Jeeps have them. The are excessively worn out, when you take the doors off and when pulling them up, the Bushing starts to lift out. Very cheap to replace.

Replacement Door Hinge Bushings

It seemed like many people were experiencing worn bushings on their door hinges and having a hard time finding replacements so I started making sets of custom designed bushings for people. Anyone that needs a set can check them out at:
