Wow. I just now checked this thread out to see if I could offer some helpful advice, but it is my humble opinion - as someone who doesn't know the OP or his posts on other forums - that the OP is an impatient JERK and, if he chooses to leave as he threatened, the forum will be the better for it. We are a friendly bunch here and most of us deal with enough self-important, ignorant jerks in real life, and don't need to put up with it on the forum. Especially when any help and information offered is obviously not read.

Might I suggest trading the 2006 Unlimited in for an SUV with a security package? Jeeps are for people who have a sense of humor, technical knowledge (or are willing to shut up, listen, and learn) and are generally friendly folks. Not jerks. And, heck, anyone so worried about "security" probably needs to drive something else, anyway.

My humble two cents.

Yeah, with Jeep security.. you've just got to deal with what you've got. I mean.. that's why we have theft insurance.

Plus, I never get upset with a new post, even if it doesn't help me any.. at least it bumps your problem to the top of the forum.

I was thinking a big black dog but someone beat me to it with the pretty german shepard..dang..some people are no fun.. basically you leave nothing of value in a soft top jeep that cant be replaced..pretty simple, but to be fair I do have three locking tuffy boxes that are empty except for sunscreen and dry clothes ha ha

I humbly submit that a large dog would not be a good protection device for a Jeep. If you were to leave your dog(s) in the vehicle, you would probably end up with slashed windows (or broken windows, if you are using a hard top) and a nasty note on the windshield from some animal rights nut, letting you know they took the dog because keeping a dog in a car is mean and is going to kill the dog, and you're awful for abusing your dog like that.

He should get a protective bubble to put around the Jeep like the Bubble Boy, as concerned as he is. I am at work and can't post a picture of the Bubble Boy.. Will somebody please assist below?

Quick, someone, photoshop Chadwick's Jeep into that Bubble.

I've had my disagreements with Jerry B....I was right damn you.... But, I hope I've never looked as ignorant as the OP here. Esp. considering Jerry was being rather helpful.

I think I found Cat poo in the sandbox.

Wow, you have got to be kidding me. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

1. The Jeep forums are the most helpful anywhere
2. You have been give plenty of clear inforamtion WITHOUT any attitude.
3. Jerry No 1 is the most helpful you will find anywhere. What do you think the 6000 posts here are and the 470000 on JF are from?

This looks pretty secure... but you'd have to get some soldiers to man it in shifts..

I dunno...if the burglar comes from the flank there is no way that gun will turn in time.

I think the invisible T-101 is still the way to go...

Yeah, you'd have to make sure the Soldiers you hire were armed with pistols.. it'd be a whole big production... I like to park mine in the garage.. and also.. I try not to live in place where I'm so worried about people stealing my Jeeps.

The first two sentences from Forthetimebeing are ----

Let me say flat out I'm a total newbie, both to jeeps in general, having an '06 unlimited for all of three weeks and never having driven one before, as well as to this forum. I have also never owned or driven a 4x4 before, and I am in no way mechanically inclined.

So, you can see right away I will likely be in need of serious HELP !

He is correct in what he says.

New yorkers are so angry... and in this case dumb. I glanced over the help you all have given and clearly understood all of it in under 2 minutes.

I second the chadwick request!
