Black out the fender flares and headlight bevels. The chrome wheels are throwing it off too. And how about some body armour

I don't think it looks bad to begin with.
The only thing I don't really like is all the mesh over the lights and markers,
but that's just a personal preference.
All of it is really just preference anyways man.
What looks good to one, may look like garbage to another.

Painting the flares won't make it look more "beasty",
but it WILL make them look better.
Maybe add some nice black rocker and corner guards to it.
Aftermarket bumpers always seem to make em look a bit more "beasty".
ORO or flush mount tail lights make the back end look better, imo.

There are tons of things you can do, and it can get really pricey.
That's why I have a hard time recommending things just for looks alone.
I think you should get some stuff that you thinks looks good,
but also serves some purpose as well.

Make it your own man.
Who cares what others think, right?

Throw some fog lights on the bumper, add d-rings and mount a jack on the hood.

From the pics, it looks like it already has rocker guards and aftermarket bumpers.

Bigger tires would give it a really different look. Black wheels would make a big difference too.

I didn't see that rocker there, sorry.
Maybe I should have said different bumpers.

Here's a decent list:
1: Winch
2: pocket-style flares
3: Paint those light guards black
4: Hood Scoop
5: big stinger
6: wranglerforum.com sticker
7: tube doors

and for god's sakes, ditch the double windshield wipers. Do you live in 1989?

each wiper has two blades on it, giving him a total of 4 on two wiper arms.

sweet guys. i also love black rimes, not a fan of the chrome at all. i got D44 on it.
my jack is mounted on my tuffy rear consol where the backseat was.
i took that pic back like a month ago, since then the top is off, half doors were on, currently off aloso. rockin the bikini top and T cover.

what should i use to paint the chrome headlight and fenders?
should i go for the black racing rims like mine? or rock some badass custom rims? i know its preference but i think both look mean

also, ive noticed ive got a decent amount of clearence for the tires. im rockin a 4.5" long arm lift atm, currently have 33s. think i can rock 35s? this is my daily driver how drastically will that affect my mpg? and help my off roadig?
if i bump up to 35s will the tires rub the fenders while the swaybar is disconnected?

You should be able to fit the 35s in there. If anything a 1"body lift might be necessary. But that would definitely work with the D44, as long as the gearing is right. For 35s I think the minimum would be 4.88, but I'm not an authority on them.

Painting the fenders should be done with Krylon Fusion. There are a tone of write-ups on here, you just have to search for the threads. The metal covers would take some rustoleum hammer finish. Just make sure that you sand them up a bit so the paint will hold.

in the pic of mine above I had 35's on it... 4.5 lift in rear and 6.5 in front. I had to extend the bump stops in front.. it would flex so much that it bent the trac bar over the diff housing. so extending bump stops is key.

Yea, to paint your fender flares, just mask around the area to be sprayed, sand them down with a Fine or Very Fine grit and then have at them with some LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT coats of Krylon Fusion. More coats with lighter sprays is always a nicer job.

Yea besides that, definitely a winch, some MCE fenders mudders, quarter panel guards,

I like the rims personally, for me all black gets to be a yawner.
