The winch is Precision Manufactured in China. We sourced the highest quality components for the winch and offer a 1 year electrical warranty and limited lifetime on all mechanical components. It is also the best low cost imported winch you can currently get.

We understand your concerns of the winch quality and where it is manufactured. Our branded winches have been a secret for almost a year now. We've been buying different companies and testing them out so that way when the final product gets to you, there aren't tons of those infamous quality issues we've all seen of lesser products.

Hello,

We are the only company selling our winch. Rockridge4wd.com does not carry our winch. It is not the same as a rugged ridge brand winch. The Quadratec winch is also not manufacturered in the same facility as their brand winch.

We have been testing our winches out for the past 4-5 months and have had great results. We will be posting up performance videos on our YouTube channel soon. This winch is not a competition winch, just to clear that up .

Any questions you have, please ask away!

-Joe

Currently they are only available in gray. The actual name of the color is "Pearl Mouse Gray" but perhaps in the future we could go for a black powdercoat finish. I'm sure the more feedback we get, the better the winch will get defined.

Jeepwayoflife why would you be mad about your Engo winch? Does it not work good?

If the color of your winch is your biggest concern you probably don't really need one!

No, mine works great. I would just prefer the brand name of this one. I know both have the same warrenties, but the company has to be around to honor it. Maybe Engo will do fine and be around a long time, but if they close, my lifetime warrenty means nothing. And as far as the color, if I would be dropping $300 on a winch, I would like it to match my jeep. Not saying that color makes a winch or anything, just saying black would look better on my jeep.

I have no Idea how you though I was talking about your Quadretec winch. If you had followed my link you would have seen that I ordered a Rugged Ridge Winch from RockRidge4x4. Let's not get so huffy about things.

He said it because we are all talking about this new winch, not the winch you ordered. He did nothing wrong.

And I was explaining that I only posted the link to the winch I purchased for comparison. One thing is interesting is the more use of Synthetic line versus Steal Rope/Cable that's been discussed much here in the forum. It is not allowed in sanctioned competition events any more, synthetic only due to the obvious dangers of the Cable if and when it breaks. I didn't realize that until I was reading the Poison Spyder update on Facebook the rules concerning Winches and Winching. Not saying that one winch is good over another, only the fact that I was getting the Rugged Ridge winch With synthetic line and the price I was getting it for was comparable to Quadratecs, yet theirs was not synthetic. Not dissing their winch, just showing another option. Don't want to ruffle feathers, and I'm sorry if I did. I have ordered quite a bit of merchandise from QT and most likely will in the future.
