Post What else is needed for lift?(same as just posted but w/o typos)

I was looking online and i found a set of Old Man Emu 2” lift springs on craigslist. They are at a cheep price ($120). I just wanted to know if i purchased them what else i would need to lift my jeep and how much it would cost also is that a good deal.

Technically no, if you are trying to get by cheap. I would not reccomend that though. You will need new shocks to get the most out of the lift. There is also a slight chance that you will need a transfer case drop kit, but I have never heard of someone needing it.

^^^^^^^ Yup, shocks and a possible t-case drop. I did a RE 2" lift and needed the t-case drop. I used 3/4" thick x1" round spacers that I just happened to have. Not every one needs the drop as stated above.

What about other stuff like the bracket for the rear track bar?
Are bump stops really necessary?
Isolators for the coil springs?
Just wondering b/c I scored the OME springs w/ shocks off ebay and will be putting them on soon.

just some things i did when i did a 2'' lift..

front discos or extended swaybar endlinks
rear extended swaybar endlinks
front adjustable trackbar (not necessarily needed but i had to use one to get my axle perfectly centered)
rear trackbar mount (i only have one because it came on my d44 when i swapped it in, i had one sitting in the garage incase i needed one, guy didtn tell me he was leavin his on the d44)
and of course you'll need the shocks

you could get by with just the coils/shocks.. i did for the first 2 months, and slowly added the stuff to my list..

as for the tc drop.. if you get any vibes check out 4x4xplor.com .. hes got a great writeup on making your own tc drop.. i used about 2 washers per bolt when i did mine.. i also have a bl/mml which helped with my vibes too

i dont have bumpstops =X my acos took their place lol

MOA, pretty much nailed it. I completely forgot about the front disco's. You dont need them, but you will want them every jeep wants them even when stock.
