but its not holding up very well.. i am considering getting the same style just a different brand.. or new all together..

im not crazy about the "stingers" or w/e they call them.. when there go like 3 feet infront of the jeep.. but im not apposed to it if it has something els going on..

Rampage Grille Guard - JCWhitney

i kind of like how it wraps around the lights.. but it looks very cheep..

I know you said you didn't like three foot stingers, neither do I. But, I do like the smaller stingers for winch protection.

I went with a GenRight aluminum bumper with what they call a "trail stinger". It is perfect for my needs, I'm not going to endo my jeep. You can't see the trail stinger from the drivers seat or anywhere in the jeep. It doesn't add a bunch of length to the front end either, still super easy to navigate tight trails and parking lots. It weighed in at 23LBS, I can't remember how much my stock bumper weighed, but it was somewhere around 10 pounds lighter. Even though it provides a lot more protection.

Jerry,

Done multiple search terms on "aluminum paint / savvy" without finding an applicable post back to early 2013...so painting that bumper black? Sand/scuff it, etching primer, and then a flat black paint in the ball park to turn it from the shipped aluminum to the black you have?

That bumper is on my build list..

I'm shopping for one right now myself...I'm surprised no one with a Barricade bumper has chimed in. Price is unbeatable & build quality sounds good too.
Personally I like that Mopar onelisted above, but price is pretty steep

Honestly I didn't know it was a mopar part until I stumbled onto it on that website. It was on the jeep when I bought it.
