You can kinda see where I touched to see if it was dry when it clearly was not. I'm not too worried about it.

What do you guys think of painting my faded fender flares with truck bed liner?
I painted my flares and and mirrors with krylon fusion and I love the way it turned out!! I'm gonna paint my handles when the weather is better. But all in all my .02 is that the krylon fusion has held up very well and I love it on my flares

Today I swapped an intermittent wiper switch for my two speed wiper switch. It clicked right in and worked perfectly!

Installed my junkyard find...retractable light from an older ford. Fits fairly well. Used the anchor bolt from the original light and the other mounting point lined up perfectly with the center rib on the hood.

Does anyone have any ideas for a 2.5 liter sticker?? I am wanting to mock the "4.0 inside" or the "4.0 high output" like this one

Installed two tow hooks from harbor freight and was wondering how to install the same one in the back? Do I need to take the bumper off to tighten down the other bolt that came with tow hooks? I know I need to drill Atleast one hole. Just confused about the extra bolt, do I even need to use it?

You need two bolts. I did mine and the toughest part was getting it to where I could fit a wrench in from the bottom to tighten both bolts. Not a big deal though if you dry-fit first.

I beat out the rear driver's side corner dent that I got last week.
I'm suprised how good it turned out. I'm glad I did not pay the deductable to have it fixed or even buy corner armor to cover it.
I also painted my fender flares and mirrors as well as applied to more rattlecan bedliner to the exterior. In a few days I'll have the whole outside bedlined.

How did you get to it to do the second bolt? Also should I do the same to the front?

Thanks for the advice man! Where'd you get the krylon fusion? I looked at Lowe's Improvement and didn't see it

Got it mostly put back together after buying a rebuild head. I gotta put the hoses and the belt back on, fill er up with coolant, and fire it up. Unfortunately, the weather is supposed to turn nasty tonight, so I might not get to finish for a few days since I'm working on it out in the open.

Installed thr Spartan Locker today on the rear (D35) instructions said 1-2 hours. They must have known it was going to take 1 hour to get the drums off (rusty-seize). I will put the fluid in in the morn...to cold outside, it wouldn't pour out of the bottle

Thanks guys! I have to first preface by saying weekend projects for most people seem to take me longer....always have, always will.

My Jeep is my daily driver, so I pulled everything except for the front seat (and seatbelt of course) and removed/prepped the surface for a week, an hour to a couple hours each night, then did the tape/install/clean-up during the weekend. My rough estimates below....

REMOVALS - 3-5 hours (timely because I took a lot of pics; I was afraid of not being able to put it back together again after the mod; plus removing sound system was slow-go)
SURFACE PREP - 4-5 hours (everything I read said when you think your done, do it more)
TAPING - 1 hour
APPLICATION - 45 minutes (total time mixing and spraying, 4 bottles)
time waiting between applications - 4 hours (the temp dropped on me on Saturday, so I had to wait longer between coats)
CLEAN-UP - 2 hours (pulling tape, putting everything back together...easiest part)
VIDEO BUILD - 1 hour (OH YEAH!!!)

I have a couple light spots in the front floorboards due to the difficulty of getting the sprayer in the right position, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do about it yet, we'll see.

Probably way too much info....oh well.
