I managed to get the passenger side mirror repainted and the door handle taped off for repainting and then it started storming.

But I did make a trip to Walmart.

Guess who's gettin' some red interior trim.

I replaced my heater blower switch resistor. Been driving around for a year with only high fan speed. That is a good feeling when all three speeds work again!

Replaced coil spacers with 2.5" RC springs. Also installed stainless front brake lines and bled the front brakes.

Changed the oil, put in a new oil pressure sending unit, put on my squatch stickers, bought new rims, sold the old rims and tires. New tires being ordered tomorrow. Dang that was a busy Sunday!!

Used this http://www.4x4xplor.com/alignment.html to adjust the toe after the spacers I put in this weekend. Work good I got it to 3/16" I'll finish tomorrow in the daylight, but 3/16"is better than the ¾" that it was

Cragar center caps on the d-window 31's and a synthetic oil and filter change. Nothing major today...kinda nice for a change.

I've been looking at that conversion.........
My hinges look terrible and the gate isn't as easy to open as they used to be.
I think the fold down gate looks good and could prove more useful than the stock swinger...

Why yes, mine are disconnected and I damn near rolled it swerving to avoid a deer. I have quick disconnects on my XJ, probably a good idea...

Been thinking about getting the same doors. How do you like them? Do you have a picture of what they look like on the inside? Do they have an arm rest? Thanks!!

I like them a lot. They don't have arm rest. I can take a pic of the inside when I get home if you like.

Yesterday I took of the hardtop and put on the soft top that the dealership finally was able to acquire (part of the agreement when I bought my Jeep in Sep 2011). Also, took out the rear seat & took of the milk jugs and put on caps.

New marine battery, now with on board maintainer. Going to find a way to add a small extension and run the lead out by the winch so I don't need to pop the hood....

Finished Painting my TJ black hardtop

My roof had faded.... I lightly sanded, sprayed paint prep and wiped down, masked... then painted with John Deere medium gloss paint... the project was reasonable for $..... one can of surface prep and two cans of paint from John Deere..... spray products cost less than $ 25.00 .....

I added the "double knotted" parachute cord door stops. My little girl made them for me and I think they look great. I've seen the single knot stops but I think the double knot just looks complete.
