Did the same thing. Mine was gone when I bought my 05... Heck I didn't even know it was missing! I just thought it was another Wrangler quirk. Too much money, but it DOES work well holding the morning Joe.

Went crazy with the bed liner. Door handles, gas cap and surrounding plastic, tag holder, brake light and made a front tag.
I love this stuff

always do your own work on your ''jeep''

What I did today on my tj was a job that was supposed to replace all the brakes ,brakelines ,calipers ,rear wheel cylinders ,according to the mechanic that my jeep was towed to ,I live in Vermont and have no access to a garage and it's frezzing out, so called in a favor from a close friend .took off the wheels assed the situation and fixed it myself , pb blased the bleeders, whizz wheeled the hubbs caliper's air hosed off all the rest ,used anti-seize on everything like your supposed to . took off the ''star ''on nthe rear wheels they were a little rusty pb blasted ,anti seized ,had them moving freeley ,adjusted just right put the wheels back on . The rip off artist quoted me 600.00 dollars for parts and labor .I did this in 2 hour's and had a lot of fun . Part of owning a ''Jeep'' or the kind of person that own's a Jeep in my opion needs to be intimate with her ,not letting some half wit molest my baby.ALTHOUGH I do not baby her .Any how if you own a jeep it's your resposability to fix them yourself if you can our learn they sell guides and have forum's like this wonderfull one .oh yea it only cost me a twelve pack and brake fluid.

Swapped out my stock speakers for some Pioneer 5 1/4's. Yeah, I could have gone bigger, but I didn't want to spend too much, the wife is OK with the upgrades within reason and I don't want to push it.

Remember it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission, or at least that's how I do it

My granddad would buy stuff and hide it for a few months. Then, when my grandma would ask "Where did you get that?", he could say " Oh that? I've had that for a while now".

I fixed my frigging heater select knob. I had to take it all apart. It was stuck on floor heat or face heat, no defrost. Once I took the whole thing apart, resat the three small springs and the little ball barring and snapped it all back together it works just fine. I should have taken some pictures. Hey maybe I'll take it a part again just for the photos!

Discovered that I didn't have a bad wheel bearing. I think the pics will tell the rest of the story. I sure was happy that I didn't have to replace the bearings though
