Nice top. Same top I'm looking at getting.. But might be a little while, I just convinced the wife to let me get a lift last week, got that installed and just convinced her to let me get knew wheels which will be installed on Tuesday. So I dont think I'll be able to convince her to let me get a new top.. Well I guess if some how someone slashed the top of it.

I dont plan on any extreme rock crawling. This set up may not be for everyone but it works well for me.

You could get away with it down here in the flatlands of New Orleans. Our biggest hill is man made and it's at the zoo. lol

It's not exactly a good idea to cut to much in front of the wheel. You could lose the inner wells and flare and I think it looks better, but tire coverage laws vary and your cops might not like it. I removed all my junk the other day.

About the only trimming I could do without compromising body welds would be in the rear at the bottom just below that reflector. I probably will do that since the tire moves back as the suspension flexes.

I just got one of those tops too, love it... but I think I need to pull it tighter. I have gaps at the windshield that I can stick my finger through.

and the back seat is just the perfect size for our Bostons.

Just put mine on today. I've had it since August...
And the seat does look like a perfect fit. Maybe I need a puppy

At your windshield? You can stick your finger to the outside? Something must be wrong. Check your install. Mine it tighter than a frogs butt and that's water tight.

It was 72 degrees here in NY today, so I took off the top and went for a drive with the kiddos. Also took the doors off for the first time today, and had no problems thanks to the threads I have read here about problems others have had.

From what I understand I just need to pull it tighter towards the back, away from the windshield.
It was cold and getting late when we put it on.

I pulled my interior and installed sound deadening mat, Stinger Road Kill. A box of 9 sheets 18in. x 32in cost 139.00 with shipping on amazon. It took 3 hours to complete the install with all the prep work. What a pain in the butt, but it was worth it lol!

Replaced my distributor today thanks to a broken cap screw. Decided if I was going to pull it out to fix it I might as well put in a new one and thanks to a fellow Jeeper and an awesome Advanced Auto discount code (VISA--$10 off $30/ $30 off $75/ $50 off $150!) I got a new reman. for about 60 bucks!

Yeah, I'm not going to cut the body. If anything, I'll remove the inner wells. Here in the wild west, the vehicle laws are pretty easy. Hell, we don't even need a permit any more to carry a concealed weapon!

That's gotta be the cleanest fender flare mod i've ever seen. Looks great.
