Replaced my hard door mirrors with these old CJ style ones. Then took the top and doors off and drove around a while!!! Thank you 70 degree NY weather!

im curious to know, if/ when you put the doors back on, can you still see the passenger side mirror???
i used the basic mirror mover brackets for my tj, and with the doors on i cant see that side.... eventually just left that mirror on the door.

Went to go get a price for the spider gears I broke. I have 3.73 with limited slip. I was always told that was a Dana 44 but the guy at the dealership said I had a Dana 35 acording to the build sheet...anyone got a clue??

Yes you absolutely can. The paperwork in the package shows you how the mirrors can be positioned in the same locations as the stock door mirrors. This is the main reason why I went with these rather than some kind of relocation bracket. Plus I really like the look. My friend is a much more experienced jeeper than me and turned me on to them. Very inexpensive too. I got them here:

Mirror Kit Black "CJ" Style 7628

The last couple of days I sanded and primed and sprayed my side mirrors with Rust-Oleum Truck Bed liner. Another coat and I can put them back on. They really came out good. I plan on doing the fenders next. It was 80 plus degrees today so I took my hard slider windows off and put on the soft zipper windows. I had to have some really air flow.

Rugged Ridge 2" lift and Rugged Ridge Sidebars. Finally finished today after my rear trackbar for a RHD arrived from Australia. Wheels on the way from the US and 33" Kumho KL71's waiting.

Actually found it at Autozone, its a "utility mat" for $40. Used half for the rear, all the way to the front edge, exacting knives the footman loop holes. I'll post a pic when I empty it in an hour or so.
