Received my door surrounds and rear bar from Morris and put them on...

All I need now is a rear window and I'm 100% rocking the soft top. Anybody selling a spice or tan rear window for a 98?

I did an oil change, glue my windshield weatherstripping back up, installed a custom air freshener, cleaned off the motor, and mounted my roll-bar first aid kit

Lift kit & New Tires

I lifted my '05 Rubicon Unlimited. 3.5" RE Super Flex, matching RE shocks, 33 x 12.5 Pro Comp M/T Extremes. Looks great, rides a little better than stock. Have not taken of road since the mod....I expect it will be great. It is a beast!

Just finished wiring and painting this. Installing it this weekend. It has barometer, altimeter, compass, relative altimeter and outside temperature.

Also was bored and I painted my new deep transmission pan. Need to get it installed with my inline tranny filter and tranny cooler.

Installed my Skid Row Offroad steering box skid. Very easy to install. Only took about 10 minutes.

Took the Rampage soft top completely off (here at work... the joys of it being slow and a really nice day in loVely Detroit) for the first time since I installed it on Saturday... hope it goes back on easily tonight.

Topless and Caged... not sure what others do with there soft top, but I just rolled it up as best I could and put it in the back seat. This is probably a random preference, but what do people do with there tops when they come off and don't have a place to store it at the current moment? Do you roll it with the outside facing up or the inside facing up? Okie, probably just being a smidge technical.

Ordered a Zone 1.25" BL and 1" MML to make some room for 33s and so that I can remove the TC drop. Also ordered a set of 2" XJ coils for the front. I currently have a 2" BB installed but with my aftermaker bumper and winch it sags quite a bit. Hoping the XJ coils will sort this out. If not, I'll machine down the 2" spacers that I will be removing from the front an space it as needed.

started off by taking the top off - weather is perfect (except for the pollen) with temps in the 80s

Then I decided to install the new stereo and 4 speakers I ordered a few weeks back. While doing the install, I realized I could have ordered a quick "Plug-n-Play" from Quadratec - but I didn't so I spent an extra hour splicing all the little wires togeather.....after two hours eveything is buttoned up and back to "normal".

Then my beautiful wife and I went for a drive -just to make sure everything worked as expected - - Wife gave me "the look" when I inserted an old CD (beasty boys) - then she suggested that we make sure the radio stations worked properly...............good grief

now - it's all buttoned up and back in the garage - - waiting for another great topless day

I like the cage.

As for your question about what to do with a soft top... I use a Rampage Frameless top. It has a built in storage bag that I can pull out, fold up the top and put the whole top in it. It's small enough to shove in the closet if I won't be using it for a while.

Unfortunately, it's raining pretty bad here right now so it is still on the Jeep.
