Ah man, you are gonna love that thing. The storage bag is like the best idea ever. I love the fact that I can drive to work in the morning with the full top and when it turns out to be a nice day I can pull the windows, tuck them in the bag and carry on with them safely stored out of the way.

Enjoy!

Today I made some "Oh-Shit" Handles from old Military C-9 parachute risers and some other misc. nylon webbing I had laying around. Works great and looks pretty cool!

Discovered that my shifter linkage is causing most of the noises it's making right now (feel good that that's all it is) and found another source of a squeak that's been happening. The hood latch the one that you need to push up to lift the hood is squeaking any idea on how to stop it from squeaking?

I like to think I could squeeze some 35's on mine once I get the spacers up front, but I don't know how they'd do on 3.73s and I don't want to force it just for looks.

I'm running 4.10 but my next purchase will be 4.88 or 5.13 gears. I can run 65-70MPH without any issues with the 4.10 but 4.88 would be a lot better, at least that is what i have heard...

Custom Bumper Awesomeness

Put the wings on the Custom Grumpy Bumper my Dad and I are building this past weekend. Ordered the WARN M8000 and Hella 550FFs to start the winchplate build and light bar design.

Haven't yet decided if I'm gonna coat with Rustoleum semi-gloss or Bedliner...after a good amount of paint prep if you can't tell from the rust already building up.

Its not gonna be perfect by a longshot, but getting to do it with my dad is pretty awesome! (his welding skills are suspect though...haha...)

Yeah, I think that was one of the biggest selling points on this top vs. the bestop version. That, and the price! I got this one for $318 to the door!

Its from an Isuzu troooer. Make sure you buy the ambient temperature sensor for it also. I bought a few different ones from autozone and none worked.

I looked at the Bestop version, only thing I found enticing was the "sunroof". For the price difference I can live without that.

The POR-15 finally dried inside the old jerry cans so I got 'em on there. I'm never really that far from a gas station but I had to do it!

I know, I know, it's the original spare . I'm trying to figure out what I want to do for a lift.

Haha no the trails were too narrow he got stuck in a mudbog that I went in slow and he hammered down and went no where. He will pull me out sooner or later, I get stuck too often lol. Oh yeah that was his first trail ride in that huge thing so I think it went good. Thanks my banker (wife) was the photographer she takes some good pics of me getting stuck like this

Hey, I think it looks great, it's better to have original spare then no spare. I have my miss matched spare covered with a tire cover.

I like that bumper and tire mount swing....It looks like the Body Armor one I've been looking at getting. Are you totally satisfied with it?
