Installed a trailer hitch. Was able to purchase locally, although it did require a BFH to align and fit over the frame. Will have to order wiring harness, though. No issue since boat ramp is on my property! Gonna get a little SeaDoo time for Spring Break (kids', not me!!)

Finally got to install the Poison Spyder Brawler Bumper, at least temporarily. Will have to remove it to mount the fairlead and the winch and then reinstall as one big heavy unit. Next step is the Wurton 12" LED light bar from Rockridge4WD.

I keep thinking about doing this. I did the triangle, handles and key hole... just not sure if I can get that curve right.

Did a 5 tire rotation

I am going to have to recheck my lugs more often, I wasn't happy with how easy some of them broke loose.... I didn't have any loose wheels but, I'm going glad I checked them when I did

I have the exact same top, seat covers, and our tire wheel combo looks super similar.... Nice rig!

Great minds think alike!! So I think I'm going get some heat for this but today I sewed up a new arm rest for my tuffy center console. I had a carrying bag for my old softtop that was the same color as my new softtop. So I cut it up used my skills from the scouts to sew up this. What do you think

3rd light nightmare: This is on a 2003 Tomb Raider:
Today I fixed my 2rd brake light. OK, I had a good one today; I've looked at it a couple of times and couldn't find a way to get up to where the wires are inside the tub. So today I was going to fix it one way or the other, so I tried going under the jeep again, no way to reach the spot where the wires are inside so I took off the passenger side brake lens and bracket, couldn't see any wires shooting off them so put it back on. Went inside the back and looked inside the black cover for any loose connections which I've done a couple of times, things looked OK. Now I'm getting after it so I take the 2 buttons out of the tub and low and behold, no wires attached to them??? what the heck%/$$@@ Now I'm trying to find one of those cameras they stick up your rear so I could have a look and see where the wires went as I couldn’t see anything through those 2 small holes. NOW I get the drill out and start drilling holes on the tub so I could make a flap I could at least bend back up so the hole wasn't so big so at least I could maybe see where the wires went. Oh yeah, one more thing, when I took out the buttons I noticed one of them had a big rubber coating about a 1 1/4 " and it had mouse or rat gnaw marks all over it. So now I’m looking through this 1 1/2" window I made and I see a whole bunch of chewed up carpet the little bugger used for his bed I guess. Now through this hole I can see some wires in a casing up against the rear under the brake light, I get a piece of brazing rod and bend it and stick it through the brake light hole, snag it and get finally get a hold of the 2 wires. That fricking little mouse or rat ate my wires. Now the bummer is the black wire would only come out the hole about 5/16" and the beige colored one about 3/8. I grab some left over black and red wire from the cb mount and use a part pickup with the plunger and pull the wires through each hole in the tub out through the brake light hole. OK this is getting long. I splice the 2 wires, put some heat shrink on them and shrink them up. My 3rd light is finally working after being dead for oh I guess at least 2 years. Jerry B, I wish it would have been just clean off the contacts but you never know. I hope no one else has to go through what I did today.
It's brewsky time.

We picked up two of these decks as my wifes 89 VW Cabriolet project we are knee deep in as well...

Overall happy with the new fresh look we got rid of a lot of wiring issues the PO had. In fact none of the lights on the Jeep were working when I purchased it the only thing done correctly is the winch... We cut out all the wiring out and made a shopping list for next weekend ;D Never finished and Just Empty Every Pocket is ringing loud and clear...

I actually like it a lot. there is a 500lb capacity on it, but if you get close to that, be ready to readjust your rear view mirror and your headlights to be pointing up. Otherwise, this thing is fantastic, especially for the price.

Oh, and don't forget that it's back there while backing up. I may put some type of marker so I don't forget about it.
